The Farmville Volunteer Fire Department has proudly installed the officers for the 2009-2010 year and would like to introduce them to you. Although the department works as a whole, each officer will play a unique role in the departments successful service to the community. The newly elected officers are photographed below. Starting in the back row, on the left you will find, Sydnor Newman (President), Duane Merritt (1st Assistant Chief), Andrew Goss (Property Sergeant), Thomas Varner (1st Lieutenant), Tim Mckay (Chief). In the front row, on the left, Ernie Ross (Parliamentarian), Chris Riviere (Chaplain), Ben Sears (2nd Assistant Chief), Stacy Thompson (Captain),  and Adam Helwig (2nd Lieutenant). Each officer is excited about the year ahead and hopes that it will be a great one.
